The Burners are fire demons born from the volcanic depths a dimension with four suns. They have skin the shade of a human’s sun burn, pointed ears, a penchant for spicy foods, and a three-foot tail. For 400 years, they were brutally bound as slaves by a race of machine demons called the Chromatics. If not used for hard labor, the Burners were used for their natural pyrokinetic abilities as living batteries to fuel their machine captors’ internal systems. Hundreds of their kind escaped to Earth some 20 years ago thanks to Septimos, a hero among their people. The Burners have been given amnesty on Earth by API and have become the most patriotic demons.

The agents of Apocalypse Prevention, Inc. were first to open their arms to the Burners and a lot of their best warriors were called to that banner right away, bringing their natural fire abilities to their squads. Because of API’s mission statement of making the world a safe place to live, most Burners gladly work with them and jump at the chance to protect their new home-world from possible destruction. Others enlist in hopes of gaining the company’s alliance and clearance to launch a full assault mission to their home world in the near future.
